Graphic Design is about the conveyance of Clarity in vision, Consistency in message and Content which is useful

It encompasses many different aspects, most of which are explained below while 'Packaging' is separated into its own page

The focus of this page is on my experience with Graphic Design in Logo creation, APP's, Websites and Marketing Materials

Logo Design can be an endless spiral of concepts struggling to find something that works, clarity of brand, its identity, and purpose is vital to enabling a coherent design of logo.  I have worked on many designs and everyone has their own views but in practice a simple but stylish design generally is most acceptable and timeless

APP Design's most important principle is the ease of use for the user

Any APP that is difficult or annoying to use will get ignored and deleted

The designer has to act as though they are using the APP as a normal user and take their own biases out of the design, in practice this can be difficult but the trial of the APP and outside input from potential users is the only way to ensure an appealing interface

After this, the cosmetics of the APP are vital as it has to appeal to the target market and look inviting to the user while ensuring not to look dated and avoiding mistakes that immediately denote a lack of quality and take trust away from the user

Web design differs from APP design as it follows more formal design language and structure, websites are quite similar and the interface is well established, here it is important to make the aesthetics appealing and the structure of the pages make sense so the site is easy to navigate to the content the user desires

Marketing Material covers a broad section of Graphic Design and includes any visual materials that can be used as promotion for the product, this includes advertisements, posters, videos, photos, renders, leaflets and GIF's to name but a few

The key here is to convey the material easily, quickly and in a engaging or fun way for the potential customer to quickly identify the product/brand and understand the point of the product and feel a desire to buy it, some examples I have worked on are below
